50% Deposit is required to schedule - 50% Due at the day of installation upon completion before installation crew departs.

PLEASE VERIFY DIMENSIONS ARE ACCURATE on your proposal sent to you and email Rock Solid with any large discrepancies, 1- 3" discrepancies will not result in added or lower price unless the need for an additional slab is required

Pricing depicts installation within 20-mile radius of Rock Solid. ANY JOBS FURTHER THAN THAT WILL INCUR A TRIP FEE. Please ask Rock Solid if you fall into this category.

A $250 Trip fee is charged if we confirm installation date and time and the customer is not ready for any reason, or if Rock Solid has to come back for any reason due to no fault of our own.

UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED ROCK SOLID DOES NOT CHARGE FOR FULL SLABS ONLY WHAT MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED FOR JOB. REMNANTS WILL BE PROPERTY OF ROCK SOLID UPON COMPLETION.

Rock Solid Granite takes great pride in our work and reputation. Rock Solid Custom Granite is NOT responsible for any plumbing or appliance reconnections, leveling of cabinets, electrical connections, or support for overhangs. These are the responsibility of the homeowner or contractor. If you've purchased a sink from us, only the sink is provided; no other corresponding drain or hardware is included. Remember to keep in mind that granite is a product of nature. While markings, veining, pitting, dull spots, and fissures are common, they do not affect the quality of the stone. They are not crack’s or defects, but unique characteristics of each piece of granite. Therefore Rock Solid Custom Granite cannot be responsible for these characteristics.

***There will be a $250.00 trip fee if the owner/builder is not on site at time of template.
All templates are final; there can be NO changes once we have made templates for your job. CUSTOMER is required to select their Edge and Sink choice at the time of template.

There will be a $250.00 trip fee for any missing items such as appliances, faucets, cook-tops, etc. These items need to be present in order to verify fit and attachment.

TEMPLATE DAY- By now you may already have a template date scheduled with Don our master template tech. Upon his arrival you need to have everything cleared off the cabinets and/or existing countertops (if we are demoing). All cabinets need to be fully installed and no modifications to the cabinet can be made after the template is created. If you are moving or re-arranging anything at all in your current layout this needs to be done before Rock Solid comes to template. Should something not be ready upon template day we will have to re-schedule and enforce a $250 trip fee. We want your project to go as smoothly as you do so please be prepared. ONCE A TEMPLATE IS CREATED THERE CAN BE NO CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION DATE- ALL COOKTOPS COMPLETELY REMOVED AND PLUMBING LINES AND DRAINS NEED TO BE DISCONNECTED BEFORE INSTALLATION DATE IF WE ARE REMOVING OLD COUNTERTOPS*****

***FARM SINKS OR APRON FRONT SINKS NEED TO BE INSTALLED INTO CABINET BEFORE WE CAN TEMPLATE. PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS IS DONE BEFORE OUR TEMPLATOR COMES TO THE HOUSE***

INSTALL DAY- Before the installation crew arrives please be prepared. Remove any debris or items in the way of installation crew. A clear unobstructed path for installers is required. Animals and small children should be removed entirely from the area. If you have new cabinets please remove anything you do not want damaged out of the install crew’s way. Please have all faucets, cooktops, disposal switches and anything else we require on site.

COUNTERTOP DEMO (If applicable to existing kitchens)- Rock Solid makes all attempts to remove old countertops with zero to minimal damage. Customer should except some minor paint and drywall damage as part of the demo process, MORE SEVERE damage to drywall should be expected with Tile or Granite DEMO. Rock solid does not charge demo for Formica, Corian or Laminate countertops, granite or tile demo of countertop will be an additional charge. Please make sure to let office know if you require this type of demo.

-If we are providing a demo service please remove all items from the lower cabinets and all of the drawers should be removed before our arrival. Formica and Laminate countertops generally are removed with little effort and typically drywall or paint damage is minimal or non-existent. Some paint and drywall touch ups are to be expected. Granite/Tile demo can cause moderate drywall or cabinet damage. We always do our best to leave your house with little to no repairs needed but we cannot guarantee this due to multiple ways of securing and installing tile/granite countertops. We have earned our reputation over the years by providing our expert demo service with little to no issues.

FLOORING PROTECTION- Due to the nature of our business hauling and moving heavy items our installation crew is unable to remove their footing and/or use any sort of protective covering on their footing. This is for the safety of our installation crew and your house. Rock Solid will provide 1 layer of drop cloths in the work areas as needed. If you have a brand-new floor we recommend adding a layer of rosin paper or ramboard barrier before we arrive to ensure your floor is in the same condition as we arrive. We take great pride in being careful.

**TILE OR GRANITE BACKSPLASHES (If applicable to existing kitchens**)- If you have full height tile or granite backsplash that goes from your countertop to the bottom of the lower cabinets this needs to be removed prior to Rock Solid's arrival for install. Rock Solid does not perform this service. Only 1 row (6" max) of tile or granite can be removed by Rock Solid. Should you need a referral please reach out to Rock Solid or see below for our trusted referral partner.

PLUMBING-****ROCK SOLID will not be liable for any damage to existing or old shut off valves. Existing and/or old shut off valves are notorious for slow leaks and/or corrosion. Please have your shut off valves turned to the off position and the water lines and plumbing drains completely disconnected before installation. It’s important to note you will want to monitor your shut off valve to ensure there is not a slow leak. Customers re-using any plumbing part (faucet, hardware, sinks, etc.) are required to remove these prior to demo/installation day. ROCK SOLID WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any damage to existing or used plumbing parts. Rock Solid will mount the under-mount sink to the countertop, seal the edge between countertop and sink with a sealant and drill for required faucet holes. We do not reconnect any plumbing lines or drains.

SINKS- If customer is supplying their own sinks please have them present before the template is created. Our tech will take the sinks needed back to our location for fabrication. If Rock Solid supplied you with a sink it’s important to note that only the sink itself is provided and no other drains, strainers, or hardware is provided. The customer will need to contact their plumber in order to coordinate what hardware is needed. FARM SINKS NEED TO BE MOUNTED INTO CABINET AND INSTALLED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FOR TEMPLATE.

SINK CABINETS- Sink cabinets come with extra wood supports in the front and back of the cabinet often time these need to be removed to facilitate the install of the sink. It’s important to note that Rock Solid will have to trim and cut these away in order to install our under-mount sinks. If the customer has a concern about this please have your contractor or cabinet installer at the house for the installation date so our installation crew can coordinate with them what needs to be cut. Rock Solid will provide such cuts if needed for no additional charge. Frameless/ Euro style cabinets are most commonly built this way. Standard 3⁄4” Framed cabinets generally do not have this feature.

MIRRORS IN BATHROOMS- Mirrors that rest and/or interfere with countertops and backsplashes are recommended to be removed prior to installation date and re-installed after we are complete to ensure a proper fit and minimize the chance for damage. Often times the mirrors are glued to the wall and will require a special tool to remove carefully. Should customer wish to keep the mirrors in place Rock Solid cannot be responsible for damage to existing mirrors.

OVERHANGS- Rock solid uses the Marble institute or America guidelines for standard overhangs on cabinets and sink, should the customer have a special request other than the industry standard for an overhang it has to be noted at the time of template. Our template technician will go over all island and bar countertop overhangs.

SEAMS- SEAM PLACEMENT IS AT THE FABRICATORS DISCRETION. IF CUSTOMER IS CONCERNED ABOUT SEAM LOCATIONS PLEASE DISCUSS THIS WITH OFFICE BEFORE TEMPLATES ARE CREATED.

CUSTOMER LAYOUT- Rock Solid will allow the customer to be present to layout the templates on the slabs before cutting. Should the customer want to be involved you are required to present this at the time of

TEMPLATE. There is a $100 Fee that applies. Its important to note that requesting a layout can add some delays to the timelines due to the fact we have to coordinate with your schedule and our shop schedules. If the customer requests a layout that date and time will be emailed to them shortly after the template is created.

ITEMS THAT NEED TO BE PRESENT- Rock Solid requires all cooktops, sinks and faucets on site at the time of template, any other coordinating items to be cut into countertop also need to be present. This includes any specialty appliances as well as disposal switches.

WARRANTY- Rock Solid warrants all workmanship on installations for a period of 1 year. Warranties include Seams, sink mounting, backsplash attachments, and dishwasher mounting brackets. There is NO warranty by Rock Solid for chips, scratches, stains, and breakage. Rock Solid seals every Natural counter top with Dry treat which is a 15-year sealer, although NO stone is impervious to staining or scratching even when sealed. Normal caution and care should be maintained. Certain stones have mineral or iron deposits in them that can rust over time, Softer stones (light colored granite, limestone, travertine, marble, etc.) Rock

Solid is not responsible for these occurrences.

FINAL PAYMENTS- ALL FINAL PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID BY CASH OR CHECK. ADD 2% IF PAYING BY CREDIT CARD

INSTALLATION LEAD TIME- Generally please allow 2-4 weeks from TEMPLATE to INSTALL. These times are subject to change. Customers will get an email at least 1 week prior confirming the installation date and time arrival window. If you have new cabinets being installed please contact the office at least 1-2 weeks prior to install so we can get your job set up for template as soon as your cabinets are installed.
