As a veteran owned company that strives to give back to the communities it serves, Rock Solid Custom Granite was honored with the opportunity to partner with Building Homes for Heroes to help deliver a mortgage free home to combat veteran USMC Sergeant Kirstie Ennis. In partnering with Building Homes for Heroes Rock Solid made sure that Sergeant Ennis’ home would have beautiful, custom cabinetry and granite countertops for the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room, custom to her unique preferences and needs. Kirstie’s remarkable story of perseverance in the face of devastating physical and emotional trauma greatly inspired the team at Rock Solid Custom Granite and our trusted partners to contribute our time, resources, and efforts to help gift Sergeant Ennis her own home, as well as two years of financial counseling at no charge.

Rock Solid is proud to announce that Dan Brite asked our CEO Zach Morrow to join him and a few select other people from the local community to sit on the board of directors for his new scholarship. As you have all heard and read by now we have been so lucky to help this family out in the past and they have become such a great part of the Rock Solid family. We were very happy to get this opportunity to do more for the community. Upon initial meeting when our CEO asked about the initial funding of the scholarship before Dan and others could finish Zach offered to doubled the amount initial raised without knowing anything further! That is what Rock Solid is about and that is what this scholarship is about COURAGE! Your purchases with Rock Solid allow us to give back even further! With your help we can change many lives!

On December 3, 2014, my life and the lives of everyone in our family was turned upside down. My husband, John Adsit, was a bicycle officer for the Denver Police Department. On that day, he was hit and dragged by a vehicle while protecting East High School students who were protesting a Grand Jury’s decision not to charge a police officer with the death of an African American teenager. John was in the hospital for over two months and has had to endure 30 surgeries. He was medically retired from the police department in May of 2017.
